What is aesthetics?

The term aesthetics is used to describe what we experience through our senses, and varies from person to person. But what does aesthetics actually mean, and in what context is it used?

Aesthetics is the art of experiencing and understanding the beauty of things, whether it's music, architecture or design. It is closely linked to our senses and emotions, which often play a crucial role in our decisions.

In other words, aesthetics is how we perceive the world around us. It's about being able to appreciate what is not necessarily obvious - the aesthetics of different elements. In the art world, aesthetics can refer to the harmony between colors and shapes, while in design it can be the balance between functionality and design.
