What is UI design?

Are you considering giving your website a new look, but are unsure how it should look? That's where UI design comes in. UI design is all about designing the visual presentation of a website or other digital platform so that users have a positive experience.

UI is an English abbreviation for "User interface". UI design focuses on the visual part of the user interface, i.e. the layout, appearance and design of visual elements. This includes the design of images, pages and function buttons. When preparing UI design, it is important that the information is well organized so that users can easily find what they are looking for. At the same time, make sure that users recognize and remember the interface from previous visits. The design should also be adaptable to ensure a good experience regardless of platform. Finally, it's important to create a visually appealing look and feel, as this forms the first impression and will have a big impact on users' perception of the company.

UI vs UX
The difference between UI and UX design is that UI design focuses more on appearance and the aesthetic part of design, as well as creating an appealing user-friendly interface. UX, on the other hand, is more about the overall experience, i.e. improving the user experience of a product with a focus on the information architecture, and having a natural navigation to create an efficient and seamless experience for users.

Summary
UI design is concerned with the surface of a design, i.e. the application of the visual elements and making these as aesthetically appealing as possible for users.
